About the project
SpOrting for WEllness of YOUTH: The Synergy of Social Sports and Well-being Initiatives is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership addressing Youth policy development, Quality and innovation of youth work and Inclusion of marginalised young people. The project uses non-formal education and international cooperation to turn these themes into practical learning, organisational development and community-level action.
Objectives
* To strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical competences in the project’s thematic field.
* To promote international cooperation, peer learning and the exchange of practices.
* To support participants in applying the learning within their organisations and local communities.
Activities
* International non-formal learning activities involving participants and partner organisations.
* Practical workshops, collaborative work and reflection connected to the project themes.
* Follow-up and dissemination activities within the participating communities.
Impact
The project will produce comprehensive literature reviews, informative mapping of social sport clubs and local policies, and a practical guide for pilots. Pilot programmes will be implemented, monitored and evaluated to demonstrate positive impacts on well-being and sport participation.
