About the project

We want to improve sport and well-being opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people through social sport clubs. We want to map and support existing initiatives, create networks, promote exchanges and disseminate the concept of social sport clubs. The aim is to achieve equitable participation, effective policies and sustainable impact by integrating wellbeing initiatives while promoting holistic development and inclusive practices within local communities and policy frameworks.

sustainable impact by integrating wellbeing initiatives while promoting holistic development and inclusive
practices within local communities and policy frameworks.

Activities

The project will conduct a comprehensive literature review, map social sport clubs and local policies, and develop
a pilot guide. Pilot programmes will be implemented in 4-6 social sport clubs, involving local policy makers and
creating learning networks. Monitoring and evaluation will track progress and impact, while a sustainable
valorisation plan, a final publication and a final conference will ensure the long-term dissemination of the project
outcomes to create lasting change.
