About the project

Cuentos de inclusión – La fotografía como herramienta de inclusión is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange addressing Inclusion of marginalised young people, Creativity, arts and culture and Bridging intercultural, intergenerational and social divide. It was developed to with the project we aim to develop skills of young people concerning the visual storytelling and make them changemakers of their own communities to promote the diversity in media and in their daily life through the photos that. The project uses non-formal education and international cooperation to turn these themes into practical learning, organisational development and community-level action.

Objectives

* To develop skills of young people on photography and visual story-telling.
* To create a local impact in Alcalá la Real and making the local community aware about the diversity issues through the photo exhibition and local set of activities.

Activities

* Implementation of an international learning activity involving the participating organisations.
* Non-formal workshops, collaborative tasks, practical exercises and structured reflection connected to the project themes.
* Local follow-up, dissemination and transfer activities led by participants and partner organisations.

Impact

The project will increase the skills of young people who are socially precarious in the society will become empowered and they will become aware about the issues that surround them. In that way, the project will empower the young people and give them an opportunity to change the image of the ideal that we have in our communities by using the photography as a tool. The youth exchange activity will create an impact on the young people involved, through their multiplication, overall population that they can see in their surroundings. Thus, the young people will benefit from the project directly not only the implementation period but after the implementation period as well.
