Italy and Fidesz in Hungary have damaged both cultural diversity and social peace throughout Europe with the

examples show the importance of the youth field in issues such as peace building, conflict transformation, human

Different conflict models are often interconnected, and young people who have been subject to these conflicts at
the regional, national or international level can develop xenophobic or racist behavior. This behavior of young
people can cause violence and aggression against people of different ethnic backgrounds or any minority. In
summary, the combination of extreme nationalism, racism and discrimination with violence and life-threatening
actions against minority groups reveals the need to develop effective strategies for violence and conflict
resolution among young people.
As indicated above, the professionals of this project have decided to organize mutual learning dedicated to
conflict resolution and peace building and to use non-violent actions as a tool in international and local youth work
in this context. Efforts will be made to obtain sufficient knowledge and skills.
The objectives of the project are:
1. Learn effective methods on conflict prevention and transformation by encouraging young people with creativity
and participation.
2. Share youth practices, conflicts, experiences and interreligious and intercultural practices.
3. Raise awareness among participants about the use of tools that contribute to the development of interreligious
and intercultural dialogue.
4. Raise awareness about risk factors in environments where conflicts such as multiculturalism may occur,
5. Examine the issue of conflict in a broader dimension in the framework of Human Rights.
6. Facilitate cooperation and networking among participants.
7. Develop the skills of the participants in the field of music and demonstrate their use in the field of peace.
Our project will strengthen European citizenship by promoting their active citizenship. In addition, it will develop a
sense of solidarity and tolerance among young people to improve cohesion in the European Union. It will develop
a sense of mutual understanding among young people from different countries. In addition, by raising awareness

With our project, we plan to increase young people’s knowledge about hate speech and the use of hate speech in
the media and meet their needs in this field. The main problems we will address with our project are hate speech,
racism, xenophobia and the media.
Activities
Our activity, being a youth exchange activity will be between August 23 to 28, 2020, with participants from Serbia,
Italy, Turkey, Denmark, Bulgaria and Spain with 45 participants. During the project, non-formal training
techniques will be used, participants will influence the learning processes of interaction between them, and the
learning processes of the participants will be formed by our members and leaders of the facilitator group in the
project, and will be created an area where participants can learn from each other. During the program, role plays,
case studies, group work, visual presentations, outdoor activities with the participants will be held and the
simulation game will be played.
Organizations that are partners in the project will take part in controlling whether the participants they will include
in the project are suitable for the target audience, prepare participants for the training process and carry out the
follow-up stages that will be specified before The participants leave. In addition, they will select the appropriate
participants for the target audience of the activity. They are obliged to support all the activities that will be carried
out during the preparation process, the implementation process and the monitoring processes. With the blog that
will be created as a result of the project, participants will share information on the theme of social peace in their
own countries and support participants in this process in partner organizations. In addition, the partner
organizations will be in constant communication during the selection processes of the participants and during the
preparation of the participants, and can contribute to each associated project in this way.
We hope that our participants have an interest in peace and music, and that they have some experience in this
field, although few. We can summarize our participant profile as follows:

– Young people between the ages of 18-30,
– Those who believe in peace and want to act for peace,
– Know enough English to understand, and be understood,
– With or without experience in music and who wants to improve,
– Who wants to learn and apply what they have learned,
– Open to new project ideas,
– You have not been involved in an international project before.
It will be a selection criterion that our participants who will participate in our project are among the inexperienced
and language deficient people who have no more knowledge in the field of youth studies and are motivated to
develop their skills in the process. The age range of our participants is expected to be in the range of 18-35. In
our project, our leaders are expected to be made up of people with experience in the field of youth work and have
strategies to facilitate the participation of young people with reduced opportunities. In addition to this, we plan to
make the process more effective by including disadvantaged youth of the local population in our local activities.

Impact

Efforts will be made to ensure that young people with fewer opportunities participate in the project even if they do
not have a good level of language skills as well as people who have not previously experienced abroad. In this
way, these participants will have the opportunity to improve their language skills. This will allow participants to

At the same time; Participants will raise awareness about the people around them in their lives using this
information in their own projects and in their daily lives, with the knowledge they have acquired about the
problems of social peace and discrimination in their own countries.
On the other hand, all young people participating in the project will be able to see the problems related to social
peace and conflict resolution through group activities and activities that will be carried out, seeking solutions to
these problems. In this way, an impact on young people will be achieved. To measure this effect, participants will
be observed in the evaluation and analysis processes.
Through the platforms that will be created in the project process, young people who participate in the project will
be able to learn and see different cultures interacting with each other and at the same time; By knowing other
cultures, participants will have information about other cultures.
The institutions will be informed about the organizations that send participants to the project, the information they
receive from the participants and the activities and results of the workshop throughout the activity. In this way, the
participating organizations will have information on social peace and will provide the opportunity to use this
knowledge in their future projects.
With the Youthpass they will receive, they will have the opportunity to transfer their learning results to their local
institutions and transfer them with documents; However, this will create a multiplier effect with the initiatives they
will take in the projects to be developed. Our goal is to support the process of distribution of the materials and the
results of the project used during the project by the participants. During the preparatory phase, we will announce
the project through local and national media channels, and we will invoke the content of the activities and the
content of the project, as well as local, national and international news channels for the activities.
In addition to these, we hope to have an impact on both our participants and the local people with the local
concert that we will create. In addition, local people will have the opportunity to see a product that individuals from
other cultures have made together, and thus a local impact can be created.
First, when the participants, who are our first target group, return, they will share their experiences with their
families, friends and circles, and this will create an international impact, and we also plan to have an international
impact through follow-up activities. participants.
The monitoring phase will take place after the project activity and the achievements must be implemented in the
project. Our institution will support the participants and groups in the activities they will carry out during the
required fields and follow-up stages. Through the Facebook group and other platforms that will be established
during the project process, a network will be created for participants to use in projects that will be carried out in
Europe and internationally, supporting them in their planned activities. This network was created through the blog
and Europe, Spain and the effects will be created internationally.
