About the project

Repensar la educación para la paz: formación de formadores para trabajadores en el ámbito juvenil is an Erasmus+ training project for youth workers addressing Bridging intercultural, intergenerational and social divide, Prevention of conflicts, post-conflict rehabilitation and Quality and innovation of youth work. Objectives

* To contribute the development of social peace in Europe which harmed due to the inequalities derived during the pandemic.
* To prevent marginalization and extremism among young people in post-pandemic era.
* To inform youth workers about peace education and to gain competence on implementing educational activities with young people.
* To strengthen the competence of youth workers on facilitating educational activities with young people.
* To contribute to the spread of the concept of peace throughout Europe which became highly relevant due to the issues raised pandemic era.

Activities

* International non-formal learning activities involving participants and partner organisations.
* Practical workshops, collaborative work and reflection connected to the project themes.
* Follow-up and dissemination activities within the participating communities.

Impact

Our project will contribute to the development of youth work in the aspect of peace education. As the project is focused on increasing the capacity of the youth organisations as well as the youth workers working in the field of peace education specifically focused on the young people with fewer opportunities. Due to this reason, we expect to contribute to the development of the youth work. by qualifying youth workers to reach out to the young people under risk of marginalization and radicalization such as young people with economic obstacles, social obstacles and cultural differences. On the other hand, we internalise the aspect that the young people with fewer opportunities should have a voice and should be work with rather than should be worked for.
