About the project

Music for Peace is an Erasmus+ European youth project addressing Social dialogue, Creativity and culture and Youth (Participation, Youth Work, Youth Policy). It was developed to in addition, by raising awareness among young people about these issues, the quality of support systems for youth activities and civil society in the youth field Our project will work to increase the capacity of its organizations. The project uses non-formal education and international cooperation to turn these themes into practical learning, organisational development and community-level action.

Objectives

* In summary, the combination of extreme nationalism, racism and discrimination with violence and life-threatening actions against minority groups reveals the need to develop effective strategies for violence and conflict resolution among young people.
* The objectives of the project are: 1.
* In addition, by raising awareness among young people about these issues, the quality of support systems for youth activities and civil society in the youth field Our project will work to increase the capacity of its organizations and foster cooperation in Europe.
* For these reasons, the objectives of our project are combined with the priorities of the Erasmus + program.
* With our project, we plan to increase young people’s knowledge about hate speech and the use of hate speech in the media and meet their needs in this field.

Activities

* International non-formal learning activities involving participants and partner organisations.
* Practical workshops, collaborative work and reflection connected to the project themes.
* Follow-up and dissemination activities within the participating communities.

Impact

Efforts will be made to ensure that young people with fewer opportunities participate in the project even if they do not have a good level of language skills as well as people who have not previously experienced abroad. In this way, these participants will have the opportunity to improve their language skills. The project was funded by the European Union.
