About the project
Ética del trabajo en el ambito de la juventud is an Erasmus+ training project for youth workers addressing Quality and innovation of youth work, Key competences development and Initial and continuous training for teachers, trainers and other education staff. It was developed to equip youth workers to promote the ethical practices in the field of youth work by increasing their awareness on the ethical questions in the youth work practices. The project uses non-formal education and international cooperation to turn these themes into practical learning, organisational development and community-level action.
Objectives
* To equip youth workers to promote the ethical practices in the field of youth work by increasing their awareness on the ethical questions in the youth work practices.
* To enable youth workers to develop code of conduct guidelines and policies for their organisations to increase the quality of the youth work.
* To enable youth workers to make ethical decisions and develop programmes focusing on ethics education by analysing the situation in their own communities.
* To support organisations in integrating the ethical practices from development to implementation of the project.
Activities
* Implementation of an international training activity for youth workers involving the participating organisations.
* Non-formal workshops, collaborative tasks, practical exercises and structured reflection connected to the project themes.
* Local follow-up, dissemination and transfer activities led by participants and partner organisations.
Impact
The project will implement several activities to increase the capacities of youth workers to deal with the ethical issues in their daily work in an efficient manner with the skills and knowledge that they gain during the implementation of the project. Therefore, the partner organisations will gain organisational know-how due to involvement of their staff to the project and they will become able to provide activities by considering ethical standards within the youth work that they implement with their target groups. Thus, they can make ethical decisions within their daily work practices. A youth worker will need to approach ethical problems and ethical dilemmas differently as there is a different focus.
